Sample Answer 1 on ‘Animal Species are Becoming Extinct Due to Human Activities on Land And in Sea’
There is no doubt that wildlife habitats are being destroyed and whole species of animals are on the verge of disappearance due to human activities on land and in the sea. This situation is understandable, and measures could certainly be taken to tackle the problems.
There are two main reasons why animals are disappearing. Firstly, in many parts of the world trees are being cut down to make way for farmland on which to grow crops and keep animals. Such agriculture practices involve clearing huge plots of land inhabited by local fauna, resulting in the loss of habitats for the native animals. Secondly, overfishing is also responsible for the destruction of aquatic life as many fishermen prioritize profits to the detriment of the diversity of species. Many fish and other rare marine forms of life arc are trapped, which reduces biodiversity and has a devastating effect on the food chain of wildlife species.
Some solutions can be adopted to improve the situation. One approach is the application of hi-tech machinery and other technological breakthroughs in the cultivation activities. Seeds with higher crop yield can be grown while powerful tractors can be applied to plough the fields in a speedy manner, resulting in higher output and productivity and thus a lower demand for clearing more land for crop planting. Another measure is that the government should impose strict fishing regulations, setting a limit of the catch of fish or restricting access to aquatic areas with great biodiversity. This ensures that other wild sea animals would not be destroyed in the process.
In conclusion, human activities including farming and fishing are rendering many species of animals extinct. However, governments and individuals can join hands to combat the issues.

Sample Answer 2 on ‘Animal Species are Becoming Extinct Due to Human Activities on Land And in Sea’
At present, human activities influence the lives of many animal species both terrestrial and marine. There are a number of reasons that animals are becoming extinct because of man's negligence towards the environment. Therefore, people can affect animals’ habitats for which they can find possible solutions to this issue.
First and foremost, the main reasons such as habitat destruction, climate change, overfishing and pollution are the impacts which are affecting animals and marine life. Many human activities including deforestation, urbanization, and agriculture are gradually diminishing the natural habitats by pushing such species to extinction. Apart from that, climate change due to burning of fossil fuels is another human activity which particularly affects the environment and indirectly kills the habitats of many animal species. This is because such extreme changes make it difficult for them to adapt.
Moreover, the environmental crisis can be tackled through a number of interventions, such as the protection of natural habitats and the reduction of gas emissions and pollution, regulation of fishing and hunting along with other important measures. The government should impose some limits and fees for those who pollute the earth. The laws, though, meant to conserve certain endangered species, appear to be not powerful enough or effective. Besides, it is really important for the human race to realize how their actions are affecting the animal species and to take steps to mitigate these effects.
In summary, I believe that the protection of the environment and the saving of the animals is worth the hassle. They have a big part in our lives and the government should take care of this matter right away.
